Long axis view of the infraspinatus tendon. Left is medial, right is lateral.

Patient referred to the radiology department following a confirmed shoulder anterior dislocation after traumatic event.

The infraspinatus tendon appears normal with good echogenicity and fibrillar pattern. No signs of hyperaemia when assessed under Power/Colour Doppler.

Medially, the humeral head cortex presents with a bony defect measuring 5.4mm vertically and 3.8mm horizontally.

Findings are in keeping with Hill-Sachs lesion.
